Robert Kennedy Calls Glenn Beck A “Fascist”

J.J. Jackson* | January 18, 2007

It is not that unusual these days for the illiterate and scientifically ignorant left (i.e. Robert Kennedy) to completely fly off the handle when anyone dares to confront them with facts about “Global Climate Change” (i.e. that the climate on the Earth is always in a state of change because of numerous factors well beyond the control of humans). And it is not that unusual for them to resort to the same, typical left wing propaganda and vacuous name calling when they are so far our in left field that they can no longer defend themselves.

For those last stubborn holdouts still skeptical about the existence of global warming–e.g., CNN’s chief corporate fascism advocate Glenn Beck, who broadcast another of his denial tirades last week–and to those who exalt the warmer weather as preferable to a snowy winter, consider the impacts on our fellow creatures.

Fascist? Sir do you even know what the term means? Do you even own a Webster Dictionary or are you working from your own called the Robert F. Kennedy Moonbat Redefinition Dictionary for Liberals to make this claim?

Aside from the fact that nothing in your latest little “Look at me! Remember me? I am related to John F. Kennedy! Give me attention based on that!” rant gives nothing but antidotal evidence designed to perpetrate the myth that 1) Humans are causing the Earth to warm/cool/change and 2) Humans can do something about the Earth warming/cooling/changing, you show that you are as ignorant as you are annoying.

So let’s get to the “educating” of Robert Kennedy shall we?

Main Entry: fas·cism
Pronunciation: ‘fa-”shi-z&m also ‘fa-”si-
Function: noun
Etymology: Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces
1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

So, if “fascism” (i.e. what a “fascist” believes in) is a belief in an “autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader”. There can obviously be no such thing as “corporate fascism” since corporations (large ones which Heir Kennedy refers to) are groups of people and not a single “dictatorial leader”. They are further not “governments”. Also, since there are many, many such corporations this further destroys his little quest for a relevant statement.

Second, let’s look at who is really promoting “severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition”. Well, that would appear to be you Mr. Kennedy, not Mr. Beck.

I can’t think of the last time I have seen or heard anything from Glenn Beck where he has promoted any of those things. You, on the other hand, are regularly out promoting that government should regulate and force people to your will. Call me crazy, but that is a heck of a lot closer to that part of the definition of fascism as well.

And lastly, I have never heard Mr. Beck ever exalt “race” above individuals. To be fair I’ve never heard you do such either. But based on a cursory review of the actual definition of fascism and not the Robert Kennedy revised, expanded and distorted definition points the finger solidly more in your direction than that of Glenn Beck.

Hey, I understand. If I were a fascist I surely wouldn’t want to admit to it either. And I might even do as you do and resort to lying about others to keep the spotlight off me. But thankfully I am not a fascist. At least when I use words to describe you and your fellow travelers I can at least back it up like I just have here.

Any other crap you want to throw out there? Like maybe the old liberal mantra about the NAZI’s being “Right Wing”?

ROFL! OK I get the joke!

As for Kennedy, he’s dumber than dirt and probably should be embarrased to open his mouth on issues he knows nothing about. This is a man that zooms around in a private jet so when he get’s his new Gulf Stream that runs on canola oil and has “zero emissions” I’ll consider listening to what he says.

You are right. He and his ilk are a lot closer to “fascists” than Glenn Beck.
