A federal judge has dismissed the United Food and Commercial Workers Union lawsuit against immigration officials related to their raid at the SWIFT plant in Greeley. Of the 262 people who were arrested at the beef processing plant on Dec. 12, some were taken to the ICE detention facility in Aurora. Some were taken to a facility in El Paso, Texas. The union filed suit against ICE, claiming not all of the workers were given due process. “Up to this point, at least until Friday, it appears that at this time, they’ve all been accounted for,” said John Bowen, attorney for the union.
