Carter Only Answers Questions He Selects

Former president Jimmy Carter continues to search for relevancy as his latest book is causing once close allies to search for something longer than a 10 foot poll just in case they are forced to touch him. So he went to Brandeis University – because he knew he would be allowed to only answer the questions he wanted to and not have to actually face a debate about his “facts” which are still under fire.
Venturing into the lion’s den, former president Jimmy Carter spoke yesterday at Brandeis University, a historically Jewish college, confronting the furor over his new book on the Middle East, which has been attacked as slanted against Israel.
The uproar has been going on for several months and recently prompted 14 members of an advisory board at the former president’s international affairs think tank, the Carter Center, to resign in protest over the book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid.”
Carter gave a brief address to Brandeis students and faculty at the Waltham campus and later responded to 15 questions selected in advance. He responded to criticism of his book and discussed his efforts as president for peace in the Middle East.
In other words, any questions that he could not spin or pretend to answer while actually avoiding it were discarded.
There were also others out during Jimmy Carter’s appearance trying to rewrite history as well.
About 60 peaceful demonstrators gathered. Many carried signs with a pro-Palestinian view. Among them: “Closing our eyes to injustice is not a Jewish value” and “Support Jimmy Carter. End the occupation now.”
Ok, let’s review history one more time.
During World War I, the Ottoman Empire sided with Germany and lost. At the time the Ottoman empire control the areas of modern day Israel as well as what these nitwits refer to a “occupied lands”. After the war, the land was given to the control of Great Britain which is what happens when you fight a war and lose. Things just do not “reset” afterwards.
After World War II, Jewish settlers flocked to the area and formed the modern state of Israel. Again, all of this after the Turks, Arabs and Persians LOST in World War I. The land is not “stolen” or “occupied”. YOU LOST THE FREAKING WAR! Get over it!
One of these days you will learn that if you do not want to lose your land you do not start and then lose wars. Because we’ll just keep taking your land if you do.
