Sean Penn Upset There Won’t Be Impeachment Hearings
J.J. Jackson* | December 20, 2006
The moonbats are upset that the Democrats are seeking to distance themselves from impeachment proceedings … which is the entire reason your typical liberal voted for Democrats this past November. Sean Penn wants everyone to know that he’s one of the moonbat base of the Democrat Party
Sean Penn Hits Media, Calls for ImpeachmentBy E&P Staff
NEW YORK Sean Penn, the actor and occasional foreign correspondent for the San Francisco Chronicle, hit the media and called for impeachment of the president in receiving the 2006 Christopher Reeve First Amendment Award from The Creative Coalition Monday night in New York City.
After listing a dozen or more serous issues facing the country, Penn said, ”We depend largely for information on these issues from media industries, driven by the bottom line to such an extent that the public interest becomes uninteresting.”
Turning to his views of President Bush, Penn said, “Now, there’s been a lot of talk lately on Capitol Hill about how impeachment should be ‘off the table.’ We’re told that it’s time to look ahead - not back…
“Can you imagine how far that argument would go for the defense at an arraignment on charges of grand larceny, or large-scale distribution of methamphetamines? How about the arranging of a contract killing on a pregnant mother? ‘Indictment should be off the table.’ Or ‘Let’s look forward, not backward.’ Or ‘We can’t afford another failed defendant.’
My offer still stands. IF you moonbats want to seriously talk about impeaching elected officials for committing “high crimes” and “misdemeanors” against the constitution (which is what impeachment is for) then I will be more than happy to impeach President George W. Bush so long as you also agree to impeach every liberal, neo-conservative, etc. that has ever proposed, supported and/or signed a bill or budget that funds any number of unconstitutional (under Article I, Section
programs from Welfare to Social Security to Food Stamps to Medicare. And further that they agree to never again vote for such a candidate.
What do you say? What’s that? You liberals say “no”? Oh, that’s right. You’re not really interested in abiding by the Constitution. You just want power.
Get back to me when you grow up, learn about the Constitution and graduate from a 4th grade level of education then.
