Mexican President Cuts His Salary – Will Liberals Sue?

A government official cuts salaries of himself and others in government? Ok so it is in Mexico and not here in the United States, but you can bet the liberal elite in America are none too happy at the potential repercussions this could have for them as well.

By IOAN GRILLO. AP. MEXICO CITY — Newly sworn-in president Felipe Calderon decreed a 10 percent pay cut for himself and his cabinet members on Sunday, echoing a central campaign promise of the leftist rival he beat by a razor-thin margin.

I wonder how long it will be before liberals here in the United States sue Mr. Calderon over this maneuver. After all, being elected to government and giving themselves plump salaries are how they make their living. And it would be hazardous to their financial well being if this dangerous sentiment were to migrate from south of the border to Washington DC.
