Sen. Allen’s parting shot would allow guns in national parks
The Coloradoan
By FAITH BREMNER Gannett News Service. WASHINGTON - Gun rights groups are making a final push to get the gun ban in national parks lifted before control of Congress officially passes into Democrats’ hands in January.
Yes, Heaven forbid that we actually be allowed to partake of our Constitutional rights! What part of “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” is so difficult for most people to get? Since when did “not” become synonymous with “well, it won’t be unless we the all powerful legislature deem otherwise”? “No” means “no”!
The is no reason why guns are prohibited in national parks.
