Election Day Cometh And Democrats “Nervous”
J.J. Jackson | November 6, 2006
Representative Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, the Democrat leading his party’s effort to win control of the House, said, “It’s inevitable that there would be some tightening in the end.”
Still, Mr. Emanuel, who has been careful this campaign to avoid the public expressions of optimism voiced by other Democrats, added, “This is making me nervous.”New York Times
I still think the Democrats will win the House. There are just too many people in America that want more socialism than the Republicans will give and far too many people that have bought into the DNC talking points on the Iraq War despite all the evidence that he had WMDs and was still pursuing them. Exhibit “A” in that is the recent documents the government removed from the web which talked about what liberals claim was a non-existent nuclear program.
I still think the liberal Democrats will still likely make gains in both the House and Senate.
