Democratic Win Might Be Good For The Stock Market

I’m always very loath to proclaim that any time liberals take power that some “good” might come from it. But one thing we know that the Democrats have talked a lot about this campaign season is revoking the Bush tax cuts which actually helped me and my family receive a small tax rebate for the first time ever. I’m certainly not “rich” but both myself and my wife work hard so it was welcome.

One can only wonder how the liberals will plot to tax the productive in society and no doubt they will definitely target big businesses like those in the stock market. But one thing that history has proven over time even despite the “good intentions” of the left is that the stock market has proven to be a good long term investment. As such investors could possibly begin to shovel money into the markets to hope to avoid short term damage by liberals just trying to “help”.

Of course that will not help their plans to leash us with government funded retirement programs so they will most assuredly have to find a way to keep such long term investments to a minimum and make sure that business cannot afford to pay their shareholders and minimize returns.

Oh well, I tried to find something possitive.
