Unemployment Claims Adjusted Downward
J.J. Jackson* | October 19, 2006
In the week ending Oct. 14, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 299,000, a decrease of 10,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 309,000. The 4-week moving average was 307,750, a decrease of 5,750 from the previous week’s revised average of 313,500. - US Department of Labor
Just a reminder, the unemployment rate is a miniscule 4.6%. But the economy sucks right?
Time to get your head out of the sand if you think so and stop worrying about ficticious people you think are suffering.
