Doyle, Green Agree: Constitution Doesn’t Matter
J.J. Jackson* | October 5, 2006
The Capital Times - By David Callender. In a rare show of unanimity, both Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle and his Republican challenger, US Rep. Mark Green, are condemning a Republican lawmaker’s proposal to allow teachers and other school employees to carry guns at work.
Did I miss something? When did the second amendment say we had the right to keep and bear arms EXCEPT in places where the government determines we cannot?
Here is the typical response by a liberal
Doyle said the whole notion of allowing citizens to carry concealed weapons “would take away a tremendous tool the police have on the streets right now to keep us safe.”“Imagine a scene where somebody walks into a crowded room with a gun in his pocket and the police can’t do anything about it because it’s not a crime,” Doyle said.
Again, when was the right of the people to “keep and bear arms” amended to read “keep and bear arms as we deem fit”?
Green, the liberal Republican challenger is equally insane
Green noted that schools are already gun-free zones under both state and federal law.“I support those laws,” he said. “I helped create those laws. I don’t think we should have guns in the schools.”
This of course neglects the fact that criminals do not obey laws. Hence the reason they are called “criminals” you dimbulb! Gun bans written on paper have never stopped a single person determined to carry a gun into a school from carrying that gun into a school.
This is the problem in America today - our major parties are far left-wing and left-wing respectively.

I have read and reread Judge Napolitano’s books, the Constitution in Exile and Constitutional Chaos. They should be required reading in every grammar and high school and what is laughingly called institutes of higher learning. But…they won’t be. The majority of Americans just don’t care.
