Kerry Impugns Soldiers As “Dumb” Then Attacks!
I had to take several deep breaths before commenting on this. Let’s just say when I heard about this, Mr. Kerry was damn lucky he wasn’t with in arms reach otherwise there would have been a right hook headed for his chin.
“[John Kerry] told the students that if they were able to navigate the education system, they could get comfortable jobs - “If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq,” he said to a mixture of laughter and gasps.” (source)
Well this is right out of the Democratic playbook. I guess all the soldiers that continue to sign up for service and who have re-enlisted since the war in Iraq started might have something to say about this tripe. One can only wonder if he is implying they are stupid for going to Iraq willingly. Oh who are we kidding! Of course that is what he is implying.
John Kerry has a habit of lying about and impugning our soldiers. Just go back the whole Winter Soldier affair and how he accused troops of rampantly raping women.
To which Tony Snow replied and alsoJohn McCain responded:
“Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country’s call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education,” McCain said in a statement.” Tony Snow also joined in calling for an appology.
To which John Kerry fired back when, apparently forgetting that John McCain served in Vietnam without trying to get three purple hearts for scratches to get back home and proclaim himself a “hero”:
“I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me that these Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have.”
So now John “I actually did vote for the 87 billion before I voted against it” Kerry is apparently not able to be criticized by either veterans or civilians. That means 100% of the American populace can say nothing contrary to Mr. Kerry by his logic. Remember the Swift Boat Veterans? John Kerry constantly railed against them and they served this country!
Talk about an ego! Who does Mr. Kerry think he is to be so lofty and beyond criticism? God perhaps? Don’t laugh – he just might be that idiotic. And Heaven forbid that people deal with the TRUTH about Michael J. Fox who even admits he didn’t know what he was supporting when he whored himself out to the McCaskill campaign and lied about Mr. Talent’s position!
Anything to distract attention away from liberal idiocy huh Mr. Kerry? Massachusetts should be thrown out of the union for electing this man and a murder (Teddy Kennedy) to the Senate year after year because the citizens of that state obviously do not take America seriously.
Time and again liberals tell us exactly what they think of our troops and then scramble to claim it was taken out of context. And time and again people keep electing them. Sad.

Centrists For Santorum - No Surprise Here!
After all, as I detailed in my latest article If Santorum Is “Conservative” We’re In Trouble, Santorum has a very “moderate” (read liberal) record when it comes to securing funds for unconstitutional purposes. Direct from the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania:
At a press conference last week, Senator Rick Santorum joined with centrist Republican Senators, Arlen Specter (R-PA), Susan Collins (R-ME), Norm Coleman (R-MN) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) to rally support for his reelection effort.Senator Specter, who led the contingent of senators, said, “For twelve years, I have worked with Senator Santorum and watched him deliver time and time again for Pennsylvania. He is unquestionably one of the hardest working members of the United States Senate.”
Sure, make conservatives even MORE hesitant to vote for the man why don’t you?
I weep for this country. Liberty is dying at the hands of our politicians and the ignorant.

Murtha Still Milking Liberal Talking Points
Action Line: Murtha: ‘There Is No Question’ The U.S. Military Is Turning Against The Iraq War (Think Progress )
SCHIEFFER: We keep hearing from people who say the American military is turning against the war. Now, you have a lot of contacts in the military community. Do you think there is anything at all to that?MURTHA: Well, there is no question about it. They’re frustrated. They realize — listen, the plan has changed from weapons of mass destruction to al Qaeda to topple Hussein to stabilize Iraq to democratize Iraq. We need an achievable plan. We don’t have that. The military operates best when it has an achievable plan. These folks are going back in less than a year. There is no question about the hardship on this small proportion of people, and we’re spending $8 billion a month, $11 million an hour.
Yes, they are turning so much against the war that a web site dedicated solely to finding soldiers that disagree with the President and the Iraq War has garnered a whole 118 signatures! Stop the presses!
As usual, John Murtha is showing how much of a political hack he is. As early as 1998 the stated goal of the United States was regime change in Iraq. In fact President Bush (and you can read his speeches leading up to the war yourself) constantly refer to several reasons why we were moving including human rights violations, the United Nations and nearly every other intelligence agency around the world said Saddam was not complying with his agreement on WMDs, regime change and setting up a government by Iraqis in Iraq, etc.
But those are too much of “inconvenient truths” for John Murtha who makes his Congressional living off of defense contracts. One would think he’d be a little more appreciative of the men and women that serve this country.

U.S. hiring standards get left at border
Job ads that in this country might bring lawsuits alleging bias are routine in Mexico
By Marla Dickerson and Meredith Mandell, Tribune Newspapers: Los Angeles Times
Published October 30, 2006
MEXICO CITY — When Michigan-based automotive supplier Lear Corp. needed a secretary for its office in the central Mexico state of Guanajuato, it placed a classified ad seeking a “female … aged 20 to 28 … preferably single … with excellent presentation.”
And to make sure it got the right candidate, Lear asked applicants to include a recent photo with their resumes.
In the United States that ad might draw howls of protests and trigger lawsuits and hefty fines. But in Mexico, where jobs are scarce and enforcement of anti-discrimination laws all but non-existent, employers routinely select hires on criteria more appropriate for a beauty contest.
Job seekers considered too old, too chunky or too dark are screened out by companies that sometimes specify the ideal candidate’s marital status, height, weight, tone of voice, even the part of town in which the person should reside.
What is less known is that many U.S. corporations–including Coca-Cola, Pepsi Bottling, Shell Oil and 7-Eleven–are engaging in hiring practices that appear to violate their U.S. fair-employment policies.

Militants Blame U.S. for Pakistan Airstrike
CHINGAI, Pakistan (Oct. 30) - Pakistani helicopter gunships on Monday destroyed a religious school the military said was fronting as an al-Qaida training camp, killing 80 people in the country’s deadliest military operation targeting suspected terrorists.

Islamic leaders and al-Qaida-linked militants blamed the United States for the airstrike and called for nationwide demonstrations to condemn the attack that flattened the school - known as a madrassa - and ripped apart those inside. Furious villagers and religious leaders said the pre-dawn missile barrage killed innocent students and teachers.
U.S. and Pakistani military officials denied American involvement.
Among those killed in the attack in the remote northwestern village of Chingai, two miles from the Afghan border, was a cleric who had sheltered militants in the past and was believed associated with al-Qaida’s No. 2 leader, Ayman al-Zawahri.
The raid threatens efforts by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to persuade deeply conservative tribespeople to back his government over pro-Taliban and al-Qaida fighters, who enjoy strong support in many semiautonomous regions in northern Pakistan. The planned signing of a peace deal between tribal leaders and the military was canceled Monday in response to the airstrike.

And This Person Probably Votes Too …
Kimberly writes:
I stumbbled across you’re blog and just think that it is wrong for you to promote people vote for teh Republicans considering that this country is a Democracy which is why I and every knowing american vote for the Democrats. You should promotie the Democrats two because that is who the Constitution says we should vote for.
So I wrote back:
Kimberly,
First off, I do not suggest people that people vote for “the Republicans”. When I suggest people pull the lever for any candidate I do so independent of their party affiliation.
Second of all, you vote for the Democrats because America is a Democracy? As if “Democrat” (when it comes to the party) and “Democracy” are related? Do us all a favor and stay home on Election Day. PLESAE! You are far too stupid to vote!
By your own theory you should actually be voting for the Republicans since the Constitution clearly says that all Americans are guaranteed a “Republican” form of government. You can look it up and confirm that for yourself. If you do somehow manage to find your way to your polling place on November 7th and even more remarkably manage to stumble into a voting booth I fully expect you to remember this and push the name with the “R” after it.
========================
I truly wonder how many other imbeciles are out there pulling the “D” lever each election for Democrats because they have been told that America is a “Democracy”. I fear there are more than we could ever know of.

Shut Up And Sing Sits Down Quietly
The movie about how big old mean George Bush and evil conservatives are “censoring” the Dixie Chicks has been much promoted. But do you know the truth about the movie? Checking out Boxofficemojo tells a story the Weinstein Company would rather you not hear.
That truth? No one really wants to see this movie and so-called documentary about how the Dixie Chicks pissed off country music fans when they opened their silver spoon fed mouths and incurred a wrath that most liberals are not capable of understanding.
The movie opened in 4 theaters on October 27. Do not adjust your monitor. You read that right. It opened in a measly FOUR theaters. No doubt in very liberal areas. It took in a pathetic opening weekend gross of only $50,800. Even CRAPPY movies do much better than that!
So much for the huge support the left would love to make you believe there is for their ideology.

Hundreds of police officers show up for canceled protest
October 28, 2006 - Hundreds of police officers showed up to keep the peace at what was supposed to be an anti-war rally Saturday afternoon. Police are now calling it a waste of resources after the protesters did not show.
It’s a mix up that will cost tax payers tens of thousands of dollars. The anti-war demonstration at Washington Square was supposed to start at noon and the Chicago Police Department was ready. But the protesters were a no show, and police say it was a big waste of time and money.
They waited patiently on foot, on bike and in the streets. Hundreds of Chicago police officers were ready to make sure Saturday’s anti-war demonstration stayed peaceful. Their job was easier than expected — because no one showed up.
“We prepared a response to ensure that they would have a safe, orderly march, behind that and unfortunately what happens was this group cancelled their march without informing the Chicago Police Department,” said Deputy Superintendent Charles Williams, Chicago Police Department.
Some neighbors were just as confused as the police officers.
“It’s just crazy! It looks like there is thousands cops lining the streets. We decided to come out, we heard there was a protest, we were going to check it out and came down and now there’s nothing here,” said Jim Steimer.

Live From Liberal La La Land
Left for politically dead, Lieberman rises to top
San Francisco Chronicle
(10-29) 04:00 PST Waterbury, Conn. — Three months ago, Sen. Joe Lieberman was written off as political roadkill after being beaten by Greenwich businessman Ned Lamont in a Democratic primary that was seen …
Huh? What? Senator Lieberman was left for “political roadkill”? By whom? Radical foaming at the mouth red diaper wearing liberal Democrats? Perhaps. But not by any rational person.
In fact immediately after the lefties kicked him to the curb I and many others foresaw his eventual victory in a November 7th showdown.

Michael J. Fox Admits He Doesn’t Know What He Supports
Michael J. Fox admits he is a political hack and that he never even read the initiative for which he cut an ad for Claire McCaskill in Missouri on! See the video yourself!
Thanks to Flopping Aces you can watch the video
Fox: “Well, I don’t think that’s true. You know, I campaigned for Claire McCaskill. And so I have to qualify it by saying I’m not qualified to speak on the page-to-page content of the initiative. Although, I am quite sure that I’ll agree with it in spirit, I don’t know, I– On full disclosure, I haven’t read it, and that’s why I didn’t put myself up for it distinctly.”
And he wants to be taken seriously? How can you support something that you haven’t read and do not understand? It appears that Mr. Fox is in damage control mode at this point just trying to get as much face time on Television so people can see him shaking and feel sorry for him rather than focus on the substantive fact that HE NEVER EVEN READ THE AMENDMENT!
Thoughts of a Conservative Christian says
“Michael J. Fox is not the bad guy, and I am sorry to see some rightwing sites being nasty about him”
I am sorry. I respectfully disagree. He is a “bad guy”. The man is perpetuating false science and I repeat NEVER EVEN READ THE AMENDMENT HE SUPPORTS for the sake of his own hope for betterment.
Being a “rightwinger” and a “conservative” means dealing with the truth. And defending Michael J. Fox who is clearly just fighting for relevancy at this point is certainly not doing that.
