More Democrats In “The Culture Of Corruption”

I just thought I would keep everyone posted on how the “Culture of Corruption” the Democrats love to tout as a Republican problem transcends party lines

NEWARK, N.J. — A former state Senate president and influential Democrat who was instrumental in former Gov. James E. McGreevey’s rise to power pleaded guilty Friday to federal fraud and tax evasion charges.

John A. Lynch, a state senator for more than two decades, acknowledged accepting more than $25,000 from a sand mining company in exchange for using his influence to help the company get a public park project approved.

Lynch, a former New Brunswick mayor, also acknowledged failing to pay taxes on $150,000 of the money he earned in 1999.

Declaring that “an era of corruption and influence-peddling for personal profit has come to an end,” U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie said the case against Lynch was of particular significance due to Lynch’s stature in state politics. - Newsday

I wonder how many Democrats will stand up and make sure the American people know about this when they hurl epitaphs about the other side.
