Bob Casey’s Message “I’m MORE Socialist Than Santorum”

Ok, so I was listening to the radio today and Bobby Casey is on the attack trying to shore up the election in November against the incumbent and weak conservative leaning Senator Rick Santorum. Now I know I am going to take a lot of heat from conservatives that are more “Republican” than “conservative” for calling Santorum a “weak conservative” but the facts speak for themselves. Santorum has voted to expand unconstitutional federal welfare programs (like Medicare) and continues to sign on to legislation not mandated under the Constitution to be legislated by Congress.

So Casey’s new commercial touts (whines is probably a better description) that Santorum has voted against raising the minimum wage 13 times as a point as to why you should vote for him. Uh Bobby, and I call you “Bobby” because you act like a typical liberal child, under what authority could he have raised the minimum wage? Want to point out that power under Article I, Section 8 for me?

So basically Casey’s campaign is coming down to “I’m a bigger Socialist than Santorum. VOTE FOR ME!” Scary.

Casey’s newest commercial also tries to deflect criticism of his role in distrubing the paychecks containing a pay raise that was unconstitutional under the Pennsylvania constitution by further whining that when asked about the issue Senator Santorum claimed he has enough to worry about. HELLO! Senator Santorum is a UNITED STATES SENATOR you dullard! His opinion on issues of the Pennsylvania Constitution and the Legislature in the state is mostly irrelevant! He has NO control over it. Unlike say, the State Treasurer (aka Bobby Casey) who signed the checks even though he took an oath to uphold the state constitution!

Senator Santorum, sure as the sun will rise in the east tomorrow, is not a great guardian of our Constitution but he is a thousand times better than this know nothing hack who has a political resume as flimsy as cheap toilet paper and running on his daddy’s name. One can only wonder if within three months of winning the election in November (God forbid) if he will immediately begin campaigning for President. He seems to spend more time running for office than anything else.
