Easiest Money I Never Made

On Friday when the news broke about some coward shooting five people at a Seattle Jewish center (which no mention of the perp was made mind you) I turned to my wife and said I’ll bet you he was a Muslim Islamist. She didn’t take the bet. So I tried to get anyone I could to take the bet and I was unsuccessful. It was the easiest money I never got a chance to make because people are finally starting to wake up to reality.

‘No services tonight. Watch the news,” read a hand-written sign posted at one of Seattle’s Conservative synagogues on Friday afternoon, a few hours after a Muslim American forced his way into the Jewish Federation building where I worked for four years in the early 1990s.

Now, certainly there was an off chance that he would have been a left wing, Jew hating, neo NAZI but I felt confident enough and was right after all.
