Yeah, And They Say The Republicans Are Corrupt?

Point of clarification: There are corrupt individuals in BOTH parties.

However before the Democrats start talking about the Republican “culture of corruption” they need to clean out their own house first. We know about William Jefferson (D-LA) and his “cold hard cash” and I have also talked about others. But here is one a friend of mine reminded me of today - Alcee Hastings (D-FL) who in 1989 as a judge was impeached by the House of Representatives for perjury and corruption. The Senate later voted to remove him from office becoming only the 6th Judge to be so removed in history. We need to impeach MORE judges if you ask me.

Ok, so here is a judge convicted of corruption and now is a Democratic Representative in the House? And this is a party that we are supposed to take seriously on dealing with corruption?
