Liberals Desperately Spin Coulter’s Words

It’s like I always say, Liberals think they live in the 1960’s Soviet Union and that they control the information. It’s the only excuse for how badly they lie about what people say. For example, they are STILL going on about how President Bush made the case that we had to go into Iraq right now because of the “imminent threat” Saddam posed. This, despite the actual quote being easily available:

“Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike?” - President George Bush (January 2003, State of the Union)

Now they are trying it again with Ann Coulter. The left wing blogosphere in particular is claiming that Ann Coulter has called for the murder of John Murtha based on a comment she made about the Congressman being a prime example of “The reason soldiers invented ‘fragging.’”

Fragging, as RonnieRayGun and other members of the military that post here can tell you, is when your own troops drop a grenade (for example) in your bunk because you are a terrible and dishonorable soldier. Somehow this comment by Coulter however has gotten morphed into “Ann wants to kill Murtha” somehow.

Listen, I know that you guys and gals on the left get embarrassed when your caught on tape actually saying something that gets you in trouble, but really, making stuff up about other people and twisting their words is really ignorant. Especially with how easily the real story is available these days. But of course the left wingers will buy into it because it fits their template.

Oh, and just because you are pissed off that Ann’s book debuts at #1 on the best seller list isn’t an excuse either.
