Zacarias Moussaoui is asking for a “do over”

Convicted Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui says he lied on the witness stand about being involved in the plot and wants to withdraw his guilty plea because he now believes he can get a fair trial from an American jury.

U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema denied Moussaoui’s request Monday afternoon, saying the motion was “too late.” - San Francisco Chronicle

I’m wondering if now that his 15 minutes of infamy are over if Moussaoui is perhaps missing the lime light? Perhaps the realization that once he is locked up for life that he won’t have a soapbox to stand on is finally setting in. Don’t worry you terrorist scumbag, I’m sure the New York Times, the LA Times and Washington Post along with every other liberal rag will be more than happy to post a reporter outside your cell to capture every last one of your rantings.
