Illegal Immigrant Protesters Fail

Outside of major hotbeds for illegal immigrants not many people protested. And even in some areas like Houston turnout was pathetic.

Police estimated that 400,000 people marched through Chicago’s business district. In Los Angeles, no count was announced, but one law enforcement official put it at about 300,000. Tens of thousands more marched in New York, along with about 15,000 in Houston and 30,000 more across Florida. Smaller rallies in cities from Pennsylvania and Connecticut to Arizona and South Dakota attracted hundreds, not thousands. - Star Telegram

Some even mocked the United States wearing shirts that said “I’m Illegal. So What!” (Mercury News)

And why wouldn’t they be so bold? After all INS wasn’t out there doing its job so why not be proud of being a criminal. Here in Pittsburgh, a city filled with immigrants it was reported that about 200 people showed up. Yawn. Of course that was to be expected since most of them aren’t illegal Mexicans.

Once again, we see that the vast, vast, vast majority of those in the streets are Mexicans and other Central and South Americans. And all of them were angry because of legislation that would make it a felony crime to violate federal law.

The boycott was organized by immigrant activists angered by federal legislation that would criminalize illegal immigrants and fortify the U.S-Mexico border. The boycott’s goal was to raise awareness about immigrants’ economic power.

I don’t know about you but the fresh veggies were still at the store and despite Tyson shutting down several plants (because they hire illegal aliens who were out protesting) there was still chicken to be had in the freezer.

All the illegal immigrants and their abettors showed was that in certain areas, the non-military invasion of another sovereign country has begun. They whine about not having a “pathway to citizenship” which is a farce only a Marxist could love and believe in. There has always been a “pathway”. It’s called get in line and wait. Thousands of your fellow immigrants (many from south of the border) do it ever year.

The reality is that you simply don’t like that “pathway” so you pretend it doesn’t exist.
