J.J. Jackson* | May 14, 2006
It certainly is a good thing! And lucky for Ole’ Teddy that the pilot didn’t have a woman on the plane that he wanted to get rid of otherwise the plane might have accidentally wound up upside down in a creek.
A plane carrying U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy from western Massachusetts to his home on the coast was struck by lightning Saturday and had to be diverted to New Haven, Conn., his spokeswoman said. The eight-seat Cessna Citation 550 plane lost all electrical power, including communications, and the pilot had to fly the plane manually, according to spokeswoman Melissa Wagoner. No one was hurt. - Fox News
Had this incident ended up like Chappaquiddick who knows if Teddy Kennedy would have survived.
I am thankful no one was hurt … even if one of the men on board is a murderer.
