Democrats Voted To Raise Taxes - AGAIN!

HR 4297 came to a vote and wouldn’t you know it - every damn “NAY” vote was a Democrat or a RINO! HR 4297 extended many of the tax cuts passed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks to help move our economy forward and also provides relief from the AMT for many people it was never meant to cover but, as often happens, it did. It also extended the tax breaks on capital gains and dividends. Basically all around it let people keep more of the money they earned themselves rather that take that money by government force to be given to those that did not earn it.

Voting against the bill was a de facto vote to raise taxes. And lookie how the Democrats voted:

That’s right, very few Democrats voted to keep taxes down while the majority voted to raise them. Sure they’ll whine that they are just trying to help the little guy by sticking it to the “rich”. But to all you “little guys” out there here is a question - who signs your paycheck every two weeks? Is it Bob living in public housing and on public assistance programs or is it some guy/gal that pays you to do a job because he has extra money to hire you?

Sticking it to the “rich” only sticks it to the little guy in the long run because the less money they have, the less money you get. Think I?m joking? Next time you lose your job because your boss can?t afford to pay you go ask that guy in public housing how much he?ll hire you for.

It’s time to stop weilding the tax code as a political hammer to punish those we don’t like and those we can convince the majority of citizen are evil.
