Something I Didn’t See On The News

We hear a lot about every time an IED goes off and a soldier is killed. Of course that is also where the story ends … with the bad news. It’s a great tactic to implant the desired template which is that Iraq is a failure.

We’ve all heard these reports. They are brief and always end with “(insert number of) soldiers were killed” or some similar wording. Thus the template is promoted and the desired effect is generated. The rest of the story including how many terrorists were killed or what mission was accomplished remains unreported

However, I am going to make it a point to provide the news you won’t hear in the mainstream media. And if you do hear about it it is buried well off the front page simply so they can say “See! We REALLY do report the good news!”

Coalition forces rescued two hostages abducted by terrorist gunmen in Iraq killing both hostage takers.

There is a video of the incident provided on the site for all to see.

Good job!

Hardly something that could have happened during a full blow “civil war” and if the troops were so incapable or were as demoralized as some people would have us believe.
