May Day Boycotts Called For By Illegals And Their Abettors
J.J. Jackson | April 4, 2006
Emboldened by their ability to mobilize thousands of illegal aliens and their supporters, the left is calling for another bold move reports the Washington Times
Immigration rights organizers today will call for a nationwide boycott of work, school and shopping on May 1 to protest congressional efforts to clamp down on illegal aliens as part of pending immigration-reform legislation.
The “Great American Boycott of 2006″ is only one in a series of large-scale events the protesters hope will sway lawmakers to put millions of illegal aliens on track toward permanent residency and U.S. citizenship.
“The massive March 25 march and rally in Los Angeles of well over one million immigrant workers and their supporters — along with protests and student walkouts throughout the United States — is irrefutable evidence that a new civil rights and workers’ rights movement is on the rise,” said Raul Murillo, one of the key organizers and president of the Hermandad Mexicana Nacional.
“In order to realize the goal of legalization for the millions of undocumented workers, we have the obligation to keep pressing the Congress of the United States to legislate immigration reform that grants full legalization for all immigrants.”
May 1st, better known as May Day and popular communist holiday for celebrating “Workers’ Rights” seems like a fitting time for the left to choose to make such a protest don’t you think? It’s a popular holiday after all in many left wing countries.
The great thing about all this is that it keeps showing all of us exactly who is behind the marches and the demonstrations and what exactly their goals are. Did you see what Comrade Murillo said above? He wants “full legalization for all immigrants.” He doesn’t care if they broke the law and are criminals, he just wants them legalized. After all it is hard to over throw a Republic from within unless you can pump into it a couple million communists.
Also, if you recall many people were talking about how spontaneous the protests on March 25th were. As though there was some great groundswell that was set into motion completely unaided. Not so fast!
The Act Now to Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) coalition, which organized the Los Angeles march to win “full rights for undocumented workers,” is confident its new “national action” will prove successful.
Ah, so International A.N.S.W.E.R. was involved and it wasn’t very spontaneous after all! Of course, you’ll remember that this group is also vehemently anti the War on Terror as well.
So like I said before, the more they keep talking the more they show themselves who they are. They are against securing America. Period.
But make no mistake. This position is only until they get into power. Then they’ll secure America alright. Just like the Soviets secured their country – with walls and armed guards to keep people in when they wanted to flee.
