Liberals NEVER Mean Anything They Get Caught Saying

A Purdue University graduate student was arrested and charged with threatening to kill President George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Vikram Buddhi allegedly posted the detailed and threatening messages on an online message board. - Post-trib.com

Vikram’s defense? He didn’t really mean it!

Buddhi told investigators he posted the message, along with other derogatory messages aimed at the president, but Martin [his lawyer] said Buddhi?s actions should be covered by the First Amendment since Buddhi would have never actually carried out his threats.

The allegations are that

In the various messages posted, Buddhi urged the Web site?s readers to bomb the United States and for them to rape American and British women and mutilate them, according to court documents. Other messages called for the killing of all Republicans.

His lawyer claimed no harm, no foul

?But there?s no real serious threat more than it was chat on the Web.?

However the problem is that he kept making the posts and only stopped once caught.

Listen Vikram, I know that the United States and our society is probably still quite alien to your fragile and simple mind even after being here for a decade. But you cannot go around threatening people and not expect to be arrested!

You cannot yell at your neighbor “I’m going to kill you!” and then claim when the cops show up that you were just practicing your first amendment rights! See, here in America we take people at their word, and if you say you are going to kill someone then we believe you! And oh, by the way, threatening someone, even if you do no physical harm to them IS still a crime around here.

But like a good little liberal you think that liberty has no responsibility. You are also sorely mistaken.
