I’ve Been Thinking A Lot About This Whole Amnesty Thing.
J.J. Jackson* | April 12, 2006
Okay, it looks as though what we have is a serious, serious problem. There are people coming into this country without any regard to our laws whatsoever, and turn around later and demand they be given legal status.
It must be nice for these people to walk the streets in our country with blatant disregard to our nation’s laws and sovereignty knowing full well they have nothing to fear. Once these people get past the whole window dressing / political plaything known as the Border Patrol, they are scott free. Heck, getting inconvenienced by the Border Patrol is just going to delay the inevitable: their eventually reaching their destination.
Hey, John, these people are just trying to better their life! They are trying to earn a living!
Yes, and so are drug dealers, bank robbers, hookers, pimps, muggers, et. al. Why aren’t we legalizing any of these people’s activities? They are just trying to better their lives, darn it! Some of these poor people may even been the same illegal aliens who are just here to better their lives, so who are we to stop them?
What is worse, however, is the fact that we have traitorous scumbags known as politicians out there justifying and even taking these illegal aliens’ side. Maybe someone can help me here, but when did these elected officials stop worrying about United States Citizens? Perhaps the better question should be, “when did they ever care about United States Citizens?”
One argument I just cannot seem to understand is that we cannot possibly deport everyone here. You know, there are a lot of laws we have “in the books” we cannot possibly enforce or stop. You can’t stop people from murdering one another, but we dont’ seem to be granting amnesty to murderers, with the exception of Bill Clinton’s pardons.
Next election, remember who is selling out our country and who cares about us. It will probably be easier to just remember the handful or less of those who care and just know the rest do not!
