Delay Stepping Down. Democrats Stay On.

Ever wonder what it must be like to be a liberal? To never have to take responsibility while pointing fingers at everyone else? Kind of like being a 4 year old no doubt.

Today Tom Delay, aka The Hammer, announced that he would be vacating his seat in Congress after having his position as Speaker removed previously over accusations that he was involved in a crime that wasn’t a crime when the crime was claimed to have taken place. In fact Abramoff or anyone for that matter other than the prosecutor still has yet to implicate Tom Delay in the crime for which he was accused and disgraced for by liberals.

What’s wrong with that picture?

Lots. Especially considering that even when a liberal Democrats commit actual crimes they aren’t asked to step aside, resign or worse. Take the latest example of race-baiter Cynthia McKinney who assaulted a police officer - a bona fide crime. Cynthia still has her seat.

Take the example of Bill Clinton who as President suborned perjury to prevent a woman from getting her day in court against him. Again, another bona fide crime. How many liberal Democrats voted to impeach him?

And what about Senators Rockefeller and Reid who have both been accused (just like Delay was only accused) of leaking classified information? Why are there no calls from liberal Democrats for them to step down?

Because like I have said many times in the past being a Democrat means never having to admit to anything and never having to take responsibility. Good thing they’ve had their own glass houses reinforced before throwing stones.
