Cynthia McKinney Apologizes After It’s Too Late
J.J. Jackson | April 6, 2006
Cythia McKinney (Race-baiting Moonbat – GA) is basically the female version of Howard “The Scream” Dean. She says exactly what is on her mind. The only problem being that what is on her mind rarely makes any sense to anyone other than herself and other liberals.
When she tried to avoid security without identifying herself at the Capitol and then struck the officer that stopped her, McKinney went into full victim mode. Everyone was at fault except poor old Cynthia.
She surrounded herself with liberals trying to defend her actions. But the Capitol Police did something that the left is not used to. They stood up to her. In fact they referred the case for prosecution apparently one would assume with the tape of the incident.
McKinney was interviewed on many news outlets and simply refused to answer direct questions instead always moving into what seemed like prepared speeches.
Well, someone apartently took the drama queen out to the woodshed because she has now changed her tune. But it wasn’t a complete apology still blaming the officer for touching her.
“There should not have been any physical contact in this incident,” McKinney said in brief remarks on the House floor. “I am sorry that this misunderstanding happened at all and I regret its escalation and I apologize.” – Breitbart
But the apology is really a little too late considering all the venom that McKinney has been spewing this past week about the incident.
You’re right Cynthia, there should not have been any physical contact but your actions made that reality happen. I doubt seriously that you “regret” the “escalation”. After all you were the one that escalated it. What you probably regret most however is that you got caught and were in danger of perhaps serving jail time. I hope that the Capitol Police don’t back down and continue with legal action. The last thing we need is another politician to get off scott free because they are “sorry” well after the fact.
