We’re still waiting to see how Cynthia McKinney’s alleged assault of a Capitol Hill police officer plays out. But with Capitol Hill Police not yet releasing the video of the incident all we have is the word of a liberal moonbat versus the word of the officer.
McKinney’s claims that she flashed her credentials before bypassing the metal detectors which members of Congress are allowed to do. However she admits that she was not wearing her ID pin. I guess the question here is did the officer see her credentials or did she just, like liberals often do, assume that everything they did was ok and then merrily skip along to worry about consequences later? So when he came up to her she assaulted him.
Some of the highlights:
“This whole incident was instigated by the inappropriate touching and stopping of me — a female, black congresswoman.” - Cynthia McKinney. Notice how she sees race as something to interject here? Hypersensitive much?
“Ms. McKinney is just a victim of being in Congress while black.” - James Myart, the McKinney’s attorney. No it couldn’t POSSIBLY be because she didn’t follow procedure right?
So you know what, let’s just see the tape. After all Andrew Maybo, chairman of the Capitol Police Labor Committee for the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 1 has already said the officer acted “professionally” so what’s the problem? Why give a moonbat a platform to spout on and on about how racist your officers are?
