Appeals Court Rebukes Earl’s Charges

Ronnie Earl is trying really hard to get Tom Delay. But on Wednesday a Texas Appeals Court said what I’ve been telling you for months - prosecuting a crime that wasn’t a crime won’t get you anywhere!

AUSTIN ? A Texas appeals court panel upheld a ruling Wednesday tossing out a felony conspiracy charge against Rep. Tom Delay, the former House majority leader who has become entangled in legal and ethical turmoil in his home state and in the nation’s capitol. - Fox News

DeLay’s attourney said

“The Court of Appeals unanimously held that Ronnie Earle had charged a crime that didn’t exist at the time the crime occurred. … It simply wasn’t a crime”

But this of course won’t stop the moonbats on the left from continuing the accusations. It’s the only thing they can do.

One more charge to go and that is the money laundering and conspiracy charge. So far however with Ronnie Earl’s track record and required Grand Jury shopping just to get indictments the odds don’t look that good.
