We all know the way to our leader?s minds is through their pocket books so we are going to use that road map to help end the illegal immigrants marching in our streets and coming over our borders. The plan is really simple and requires both the democrats and the republicans to unite to bring our leaders back in line with the policies of the AMERICAN people not the illegal immigrants. Everyone knows that on Monday May, 1, 2006 the illegal immigrants plan an ever bigger march than the ones we have seen before, and why not our leaders have done nothing to stop them Hell they have even encouraged this outrageous crap. Well we are going to do a little marching of our own, we are going to use our fingers to march, we are going to call this number 1-888-355-3588 it is a free number to the White House switch board. We are going to ask to speak to Frist the first phone call then to Harry Reed (I am not sure on the spelling on that one) both of those are their parties leaders. We are going to tell both of them that we will not be giving any more money to their parties until they stand up for the American people and stop this illegal immigrant pandering. This is only going to work if we all make these phone calls and send them emails. Just think about it, they are up in their cozy little offices watching the future voters in the streets and suddenly they are flooded with phone calls from all over the country telling them that they are not going to be getting the money they need to run in 2006 and 2008, should make a difference in their attitudes really quick like. It is time to take our country back from those who wish to invade and those who are welcoming them with open arms, make those phone calls on Monday send them emails on Monday saying the same thing. If they want to know where they are supposed to get their money tell them to pass the hat in the street and see how far that gets them!!!

Really John? You would RATHER have a clean government than one where the first amendment is respected? Tell me John, how on Earth do you plan on having a “clean government” when the people are prohibited from speaking freely?

Senator McCain, you sir are the biggest buffoon I know of and it is people like you, Senator, that are sending this country down a slippery slope from which we will never recover. You are certainly deserving of impeachment for clearly not upholding the Constitution with your asinine legislation.

Global Warming Kooks Still At It

WASHINGTON — Ten states fired a new legal salvo at the federal government Thursday in a long-running court battle over global warming and pollution from power plants.

I guess someone should make sure to bring up the ACTUAL temperature data to set New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, his spokesman and all the rest of the envirokooks straight

NASA’s own data actually shows that the Earth’s upper atmosphere has been cooling since 1993 while the surface temperature has risen only about .1 to .2 C per decade since 1979. From 1979 to 1997 however you can clearly see that some years temperature was up and some years it was down. Hardly evidence of a constant global warming trend which would be expected if the theory of manmade emissions effecting the temperature was correct.

This data is probably not what you have been lead to believe exists. Instead you have probably been told about how the Earth is warming at an alarming rate and it is all YOUR FAULT! Why would they lie? Because their power depends on that lie.

Susan, I Doubt You Felt “Isolated”

Film actress Susan Sarandon has revealed how she felt isolated and frightened by death threats and verbal attacks after she criticised (sic) US policy in Iraq. - The Independent

It is always a sad state of affairs when someone threatens another with death over their right to make an idiot out of themselves publicly. But I truly doubt that he felt “isolated”. Call up old Charlie “Conspiracy Theory” Sheen and hang out with him for a while. These are the first death threats that she has ever received? Heck there are enough idiots in this country that would probably threaten her with death because of the dress she would wear to [insert awards show here].

Hey Susan, call up George Bush and ask him how he deals with all the death threats from liberals. I’m sure he can give you a few pointers. But to claim you felt “isolated” in Hollywood? Give me a break.

To counter this I think that we should round up ALL the peace weenies who think that the rest of us actually like war and also think (I know … it is a bad term to use with them) that simply wishing away the evil in the world is an actual solution to the evil. Specter Responds … Now I’m MORE Worried

Here is his (rather long winded response):

Dear Mr. Jackson :

Thank you for contacting my office regarding gasoline prices. I appreciate hearing from you on this matter.

Rising energy costs and increasing gasoline price volatility have had significant effects on our economy and are a major concern to America ’s businesses, consumers, and Congress. Analyses show that the components that make up the price of gasoline are the market cost of crude oil (46%), federal and state taxes (24%), refinery costs (19%) and marketing and distribution costs (11%). Among the numerous factors that affect gasoline prices, only federal taxes and regulations for clean air standards and reformulated gasoline are within the direct control of the federal government. It is important to note that federal gas taxes are deposited into the federal highway trust fund, which is the federal government’s main source of highway construction funding.

However, in light of the continuation of high gas prices and reporting of record profits by oil and gas companies, I believe the time has come for the Federal government to look past its limited controls on the energy market. Therefore, as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I held two hearings in February and March of 2006 to consider the effects of consolidation in the energy industry and whether concentration had resulted in increased prices for gasoline, other petroleum-based fuels and natural gas. As a result of those hearings, I recently introduced S. 2557, the Oil and Gas Industry Antitrust Act of 2006. The purpose of this legislation is to require the appropriate antitrust agencies to further consider whether mergers within the oil and gas industry have violated antitrust laws and whether such mergers and information sharing among companies should receive closer scrutiny. Additionally, this legislation would address record industry profits and high gasoline prices by prohibiting oil and gas companies from diverting, exporting or refusing to sell existing supplies with the specific intention of raising prices or creating a shortage. S. 2557 also incorporates provisions similar to those of S. 555, the No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels (NOPEC) Act, of which I am cosponsor, which would enable OPEC members to be sued for violating United States antitrust laws by conspiring to fix the price of crude oil.

Furthermore, I have consistently been a supporter of increasing the domestic oil supply and energy efficiency to balance market discrepancies between supply and demand. I have been the lead Republican sponsor of an amendment to the energy bills of the 106 th and 107 th Congresses that would require the federal government to enact policies to reduce United States consumption of oil by one million barrels per day from projections by 2015 and supported a similar amendment to the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which was signed into law on August 8, 2005, that would have required a reduction of domestic oil consumption by 1 million barrels per day from projections by 2013. This modest goal was not included in the final bill, but I believe it could help to focus the federal government’s attention on reducing oil imports in support of national security and lower trade deficits and I will continue to support such measures.

Additionally, I have supported the improvement of automobile fuel economy and reduction of vehicle emissions, which would also alleviate domestic oil consumption. The conference report of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 authorizes $3.5 million per year for fiscal years 2006 through 2010 for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to carry out fuel economy rulemakings. I also supported the incentives included for innovative clean coal technologies which hold the promise of replacing foreign imports of oil. For example, I have worked to secure a U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantee for a Pennsylvania plant, the first in the nation, which utilizes coal and coal waste to produce clean-burning diesel fuel.

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns about rising gasoline prices to my attention. This is an important issue deserving Congress’ consideration to best serve the interests of consumers and our nation. The pertinent passage is highlighted. Mr. Specter confirms that he is looking to expand the role of the federal government. First he admits “Among the numerous factors that affect gasoline prices, only federal taxes and regulations for clean air standards and reformulated gasoline are within the direct control of the federal government.”

Then he turns around after admitting that this is the role Congress has to say “However, in light of the continuation of high gas prices and reporting of record profits by oil and gas companies, I believe the time has come for the Federal government to look past its limited controls on the energy market.”

Excuse me? He wants to expand Congress’ role? How? By law?

Gee Mr. Specter, the last time I read the Constitution it said that the only way to amend it (and thus expand your power) is through the amendment process in Article V!

Then he goes on to talk about all the “good” he has tried to do. Some of this “good” is, again, government mandating to private companies how they should spend their money by mandating from on high a reduction the amount of oil we consume. Again, I was unaware that Congress was granted this power under Article I, Section 8.

In fact his only real attempt to justify the government’s greater profit per barrel of oil than the oil companies was “It is important to note that federal gas taxes are deposited into the federal highway trust fund, which is the federal government’s main source of highway construction funding.” As though that makes it right? Gee, maybe if we cut out all the pork and unconstitutional spending (which most of the “highway construction funding” is anyway) we wouldn’t have to worry about this!

I guess the scare that he got in the primary from Pat Toomey where he almost lost to a bonafide conservative wasn’t enough. But then again what does he care? This is probably his last term before he retires anyway. So he is free to ?expand? government?s roll all he wants without consequences.

Wanted: 1 conservative Senator to run in the next election…

Arlen Specter Should Listen

You should listen to your mother and father. In Washington, President Bush is not quite an adult, but he’s probably a high school sophomore or junior which puts him well ahead of most other Washington politicians including Sen. Arlen “TAX ‘EM” Specter. By the way, Mr. Specter sent me a response to my email on his proposed “Windfall Tax” on the oil companies. I’ll get around to posting it tomorrow, and believe me you, it deserves a response!

The Washington Times reports that Bush seems to “get it” (sort of):

President Bush yesterday rejected calls from Capitol Hill to levy a tax on oil-company profits and said there is “no evidence” of price gouging.

He urged the industry to increase oil exploration and to reinvest billions in earnings from high gasoline prices to build new refineries.

“I have no evidence that there is any rip-off taking place,” Mr. Bush said at a morning press conference in the White House Rose Garden. “But it’s the role of the Federal Trade Commission to assure me that my inclination and instinct is right.”

Mr. Bush said calls to tax the oil industry’s profits would take money that should be reinvested in refineries, pipeline construction for natural gas deliveries and exploration in “environmentally friendly ways.”

“Look, the temptation in Washington is to tax everything, and they spend the money — ‘they’ being the people in Washington,” said the president, who has called on Congress to strip away tax breaks the corporations are enjoying amid record profits.

Bush right on no windfall profits tax. Bush wrong on raising taxes on oil companies. He gets a C for the day. But that is better than Snarlin’ Arlen who gets a D-.

Good For Your 401K!

April 27 (Bloomberg) — Exxon Mobil Corp., the world’s biggest oil company, said first-quarter net income climbed to $8.4 billion from $7.86 billion as increasing global energy demand lifted prices.

Per-share profit rose to $1.37 from $1.22 a year earlier, Irving, Texas-based Exxon Mobil said today in an e-mailed statement. The company was expected to earn $1.47 a share, the average estimate from 20 analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial. - Bloomberg.com

And each and every one of you not leeching off society depending on working stiffs like me to provide you with social security for your retirement should be damn happy! Why? Because your 401Ks, pensions and other retirement plans which are invested in oil stocks are doing well.

However if Snarlin Alren gets his way, taxes on the oil companies are going to go up which means profit margins are going to go down which means that you are going to suffer. Of course to the leeches out there who hate big oil (which makes less than government per gallon) will celebrate that news.

So the only question is are you a hard working American or are you a leech?

Ok, Let’s Play!

Democrats MAY be opening a can of worms here they DO NOT want to open. That can of worms? The debate over what the Constitution actually says!

WASHINGTON ? Eleven House Democrats said Thursday they would sue the Bush administration, alleging the $39 billion deficit-reducing legislation signed by the president is unconstitutional because the House and Senate failed to approve identical versions.

The lawsuit, led by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, was to be filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Detroit. Similar lawsuits have been filed in other states by an Alabama attorney and a Florida-based student loan consulting firm.

“Once again the administration is playing fast and loose with the Constitution,” Conyers said. “Anyone who has passed the sixth grade knows that before a bill can become law, both Houses of Congress must approve it.” - Fox News

And, Mr. Conyers, anyone who has passed the 6th grade knows that there is only ONE valid function of laws and “earmarks” passed by Congress which is spelled out in Article I, Section 8 “Section. 8.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States” and it is bound by 17 very strict qualifiers. If you doubt this, please click on the link I provided to Federalist #41 in which Madison explains all this.

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

To establish Post Offices and post Roads;

So let’s “talk” about the Constitutionality of much of what you and your fellow liberals along with the RINOs actually put in the budget each year shall we?

I doubt very much you actually want to have THAT conversation though. After all purposefully violating the Constitution, like you do each year by voting for unconstitutional spending is a high crime which is grounds for impeachment.

CAGW Porker of the Month

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) has named Representative Alan Mollohan (D-W.Va.) Porker of the Month for abusing his position on the House Appropriations Committee by securing hundreds of millions of dollars in earmarks that may have benefited him personally. In an April 8, 2006 article, the New York Times detailed how Rep. Mollohan has directed $250 million to five nonprofit organizations that he set up. To run the organizations, Rep. Mollohan has recruited friends and former aides who then contribute to his political campaigns and family foundation. The National Legal and Policy Center has filed a complaint questioning whether a spike in Rep. Mollohan?s personal fortune had any connection to earmarks that he secured, and on April 21, Rep. Mollohan stepped down from his position as the senior Democrat on the House Ethics Committee.
