Why Is Helen Thomas Even In The Press Corps?

?I’d like to ask you, Mr. President, your decision to invade Iraq has caused the deaths of thousands of Americans and Iraqis, wounds of Americans and Iraqis for a lifetime. Every reason given, publicly at least, has turned out not to be true. My question is, why did you really want to go to war? From the moment you stepped into the White House, from your Cabinet — your Cabinet officers, intelligence people, and so forth — what’s your real reason? You have said it wasn’t oil — quest for oil, it hasn’t been Israel, or anything else. What was it?? - Helen Thomas

This is not a question from a journalist.

Let’s go through this bit by idiotic bit shall we?

Is that a question? Seems more like a statement to me.

What? Hey Helen, I know you are a moonbat but come on do a little research first. Let’s see what reasons were given publicly? Saddam wasn’t complying with inspections he agreed to - TRUE. Saddam had no intention of giving up his ability to make WMDs - TRUE. Saddam Hussein violated the cease-fire - TRUE. Saddam’s regime had ties to terrorists - TRUE. There’s just FOUR right there that didn’t turn “out not to be true.”

“My question is, why did you really want to go to war?”
Arabs Helen, he hates Arabs. Oh and he loves oil! So to kill Arabs and steal their oil. Is that the answer you were looking for Helen?

Ok, you got him Helen. He forgot to mention in addition to hating Arabs and wanting to steal oil, God told him to do it.

Ok, in addition to God telling him to do it, hating Arabs and wanting to steal oil the REAL reason was because he wanted to take all the sand in Iraq, pile it into a huge mountain large enough to see from space, nuke it into glass and have his faced carved into it for the entire universe to see.

Dear Lord, Helen, get a grip. You’re supposed to be a journalist. Listen you and I both know you’re not one, but could you at least pretend? As a journalist you are supposed to report on the who, what, where, why and how of an event not make political statements disguised as questions.
