RUN LEFTIES! THE SKY IS FALLING!

Perusing Stop the ACLU, I found this tidbit about Tennessee following in South Dakota’s footsteps!

The state Senate on Thursday passed a proposal to amend the Tennessee Constitution so that it doesn’t guarantee a woman’s right to an abortion.

The 24-9 vote was the first step of many toward officially amending the state constitution.

Said liberal barking moonbat, Hedy Weinberg, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee “The resolution is an all-out attack on the women of Tennessee and seeks to rob women of their right to make choices about their own health, safety and personal welfare”.

And again I ask exactly what about the “right” of the to be aborted woman to make their own “choices”? Oh … silly me …they don’t vote so who cares!

I guess this is another lefty that doesn’t care about the founding principles of this country. You know, “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life…”? But of course what do you expect from a woman and a group that miraculously creates out of thin air the “right” to infringe on another person’s “right”.

Abortion is rarely, rarely, rarely EVER about the ?health? or ?safety? of a mother. It usually is about the convenience of not having to take some modicum of responsibility for one?s actions however. And that is never a legal precedent to take the life of another.
