Here’s the latest conspiracy theory from my buddy Steve:

Paul Tagliabue stepping down as commissioner of the NFL is actually a right wing plot. Condoleezza Rice has often said that her dream job would be commissioner of the NFL. Well now here is her chance. The Republican party knows that President Bush is in trouble and that Impeachment is coming. So to protect their best prospect at beating Hillary in 2008 (that would be Condoleezza Rice) from this scandal someone, don’t know who, has apparently convinced the current commissioner to step aside.

This means that Ms. Rice’s “dream job” is now available! How can she pass this one up! She can’t!

So when she steps aside to take this job, and before the wheels on Impeachment lead by an angry American public get going she will be insulated from the fallout!

It’s all a plot to keep their token black woman clean enough to run in 2008.
