WASHINGTON ? The U.S. should pull troops from Iraq after this summer if the political conditions in the country do not improve, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee said Sunday. - Fox News

Wait, so three sucessful elections, continued huge turnouts of Iraqis for these elections, Iraqis turning out in droves to join the military, security and police forces, and so on is not “progress”?

This folks is exactly the problem with the liberal left and their ideologues. History began this morning for them. The fact that there is progress being made in Iraq since the fall of Saddam Hussein is irrelevant. For them they simply keep setting up arbitrary timetables and arbitrary requirements until something just happens to fall into place that makes them look good.

Its the same way they continue to justify programs such as social security, welfare, etc here in the states as successful.

It is easy to do so when history began when you opened your eyes in the morning. Unfortunately it is completely idiotic.
