ABC Admits Viewers See Bias
J.J. Jackson* | March 25, 2006
I don’t know what is more astonishing, that the average ABC viewer actually recognizes the extreme negative slant on coverage of the Iraq War, or the fact that ABC admits they have received that criticism is a “vast majority” of letters. For those of you that don’t know what “majority” means, it means greater than 50%. Add the term “vast” in front of that and we can only wonder!
March 23, 2006 ? Over the last 24 hours, ABC News has been reading hundreds of messages sent in by viewers in response to President Bush’s claim that the media are undermining support for war in Iraq.Viewer opinions ran the gamut, but the vast majority believed the media were biased in their Iraq coverage. - ABC News
Uh … well … hmmm … guess they’ll have to do a better job covering up that bias in the future!
Look for a short spurt of “good news” from Iraq stories before ABC and the other networks return to the drumbeat of negativity - probably right before the November elections.
