A Coward Or A Brave Soldier?

British papers have reported on a plan to withdraw United States and British troops from Iraq completely by the end of 2007. Their source - um -it’s Mr. “Anonymous” again. To which Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Peter Pace (who isn’t afraid to put his name to his comments) replied:

“We’re going to do exactly what we said we were going to do, which is to make the assessments of situations on the ground. The commanders in the theater will make their recommendations up the chain of command, and that will eventually get through the secretary of defense, to the president, for decisions about U.S. troop levels” (Fox News)

So the question is who do you believe? The coward or the soldier?
