Venezuela, Cuba and Syria say “NO”
J.J. Jackson* | February 4, 2006
The 35-nation board of governors for the International Atomic Energy Agency have decided by a 27-3 vote to refer Iran to the U.N. Security Council
Who voted no? Why Venezuela ruled by friend of Cindy Sheehan and fellow left winger Hugo Chavez, Hugo’s good friend Fidel Castro in Cuba and Saddam’s old buddies in Syria (Source NewsMax.com).
Anyone really surprised that 2 communists and a friend to middle east dictators would vote that way? Not me. Not like the United Nations security council is likely to do anything any way after the way the UN let Saddam string the world along for how many years?
And why are these three even in the United Nations any way much less on such an important Agency? It’s just like putting some of the worst human rights abusers on the UN’s Commission on Human Rights! As long as the United Nations allows the dregs of the world to participate and act as a weight around the neck of the world the organization will be nothing more than a lumbering paper tiger that accomplishes nothing. And don’t even get me started on how United Nations thinks that it has the role of world wide supreme ruler!
