Stick To The Facts

If a bank robber shoots a teller, flees the scene of the crime and moments later the police arrive and the teller dies who killed the bank teller? That’s right, the criminal bank robber. Not the cops. Not society. Not anyone else.

Judge Alito’s wife, Martha, left the confirmation hearings in tears while Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was questioning Alito. “AH HA! Republicans were really the one that made her cry” have said some emails I recieved since I wrote about this incident and how the Democratic Party showed their anti-woman attitude.

Writes ’smartdem’, “How you can say that it is Democrats that made her cry when she clearly ran out during Graham’s examintation(sic) of her husband shows that you are just a hack!”

Then there was this gem from ‘libzrul’, “Its funny how you try to spin years of Republican oppresion(sic) of women and minorities by claiming that it was Kennedy and Schumer that made Mrs. Alito cry. It was clearly Rep. Graham calling him a bigot that did this!”

Funny isn’t it? It’s not the people that fired the shots that are at fault but rather those that happened to be present when it happened! However when you look at the transcript you see that Graham was much more cordial.

“Judge Alito, I am sorry that you’ve had to go through this,” Graham said. “I am sorry that your family has had to sit here and listen to this.” - Human Events Online

and praising Alito as clearly someone that was not a bigot and praising his family and life.

But then again when you are out of ideas I guess that you have to resort to twisting the truth to create a new reality. When your entire platform consists of “Bush is Hitler” rhetoric and supporting the unconditional right to murder children you have to do this.
