Nancy Pelosi - “Where Is My Instant Gratification?”
J.J. Jackson* | January 4, 2006
The days change but the mantra doesn’t.
Nancy Pelosi on “plans” for Iraq
“[the White House lacks] a real plan for success [in Iraq].?
It’s called WIN Nancy. Webster defines “win” as
1 a : to get possession of by effort or fortune b : to obtain by work : EARN
2 a : to gain in or as if in battle or contest b : to be the victor in
3 a : to make friendly or favorable to oneself or to one’s cause — often used with over b : to induce to accept oneself in marriage
4 a : to obtain (as ore, coal, or clay) by mining b : to prepare (as a vein or bed) for regular mining c : to recover (as metal) from ore
5 : to reach by expenditure of effort
Please note the common theme there in each of the BOLD selections. That common thread is that “winning” often requires “effort”. You know, effort - something you are apparently unwilling to expend.
Nancy Pelosi on Terrorists
“[Bush] has allowed the Taliban and their al Qaeda (sic) allies to continue to attack our troops?
Yep, that’s right Nancy said that it is President Bush that is allowing al Qeada to attack and kill our troops. Liberal Psychobabble to English Translation - “Bush is killing our troops! Impeach Bush! RAAAAHHHHHHRRRR!”.
Nancy Pelosi on “winning the peace”
“President Bush also failed to admit that a lack of post-war planning in Iraq has allowed the insurgents to remain a threat nearly three years after the invasion.?
Liberal Psychobabble to English Translation - “What? This war isn’t over yet? My butler, Jose, can fix me dinner in 1 hour so why are we still fighting this war? Why, if FDR or Bill Clinton were in change we’d have routed this enemy by now and done so without even sending a SINGLE soldier into harms way. President Bush is allowing our soldiers to DIE!”
Of course what do you expect from a woman that basically supported the Rep. John Murtha “Withdraw Immediately” plan. Hey Nancy, how many troops do we still have in Kosovo? Can we bring the rest of them home yet?
