“Inclusiveness” Through Exclusion?

Homosexuals, if they would ever get over having to prove to themselves that their lifestyle is “mainstream”, would be much better served simply living their lives rather than forcing themselves in the faces of Americans. You will find that the vast majority of Americans are very libertarian and don’t really care who you are doing the bone dance with in your own home unless you are raping someone or sexually abusing a child.

But as usual, that is not enough. Some of the more radical elements want more. They want to be seen as in the norm despite being at best 2% of the population. Enter THIS year’s grand plan to stack the deck.

An advocacy group for the so-called lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is urging its supporters to be the first in line this year at the White House Easter Egg Roll to show “family visibility” to the nation.

Mark Tooley, writing in the Weekly Standard, says a church-based homosexual-rights group, Soulforce, sent an e-mail to supporters giving instructions for the event.

“On April 17, 2006, when the White House lawn is opened to families for the Annual Easter Egg Roll, imagine if the first 1,000 families onto the lawn were LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] families,” said the Jan. 4 e-mail. Once America sees the White House lawn awash in LGBT families, “there will be no going back,” Soulforce promised.

That’s right, the typical “We’re here! We’re queer! And we’re in your face!” crowd.

The object is clear. Force people who don’t think that homosexuality is normal to see an all homosexual Easter Egg Roll this year and then claim “LOOK! LOOK how many of us there REALLY are!” That’s right, 2% isn’t enough. It isn’t enough to show the truth but rather put on a false face for gain.

I wonder if they will be camping out around the White House for the week leading up to the event just to try and get this to happen? I wonder why they are trying so hard to exclude mainstream heterosexual America from this event? Inclusive? No. Not in the least. But then again why would they want to practice what they preach which is inclusiveness?

Because they aren’t after inclusiveness. That’s why. But most of America just doesn’t care … until you try to exclude them to make yourselves look mainstream.
