Democrats, Alito and Abortion
J.J. Jackson* | January 11, 2006
True to their nature, the Democrats are concerned with a woman’s ‘right’ to kill her baby.
Illinois Senator Dick Durbin, the Senate’s No. 2 Democrat, told Alito his testimony “left in question the future” of the high court’s 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion nationwide. - Bloomberg
Well, Dick, before 1973, Americans had the decency to know it was wrong to kill your child just because you didn’t really want to be pregnant. Then came along the Supreme Court in its infinite wisdom, and decided to say it was okay, without really saying it (mind you, Roe v. Wade never made it okay to have an abortion, it just stated it was a woman’s right to privacy).
Since it was the Supreme Court that made this decision, it can also be the Supreme Court to reverse this decision.
Remember, Dicky, your mother chose life. You might want to thank her, because I know I won’t.
