Bin Laden Offers “Truce”?
J.J. Jackson* | January 20, 2006
Wait, let me take a second to muster up the proper response to that. Ok, I’m ready -
HAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA! ABSOLUTELY NOT!
?… the operations are occurring in Baghdad and you will see them here at home the minute they are through (with preparations), with God?s permission,? he said. ?Based on what I have said, it is better not to fight the Muslims on their land,? he said. ?We do not mind offering you a truce that is fair and long-term … so we can build Iraq and Afghanistan … there is no shame in this solution because it prevents wasting billions of dollars … to merchants of war.? - Daily Times
Not only that but “has bin” Laden claimed that it wasn’t the fact that we have increased security that there have been no attacks. Oh no, the reason is that they are still planning them and are just being deliberate. Ok, now I don’t doubt that there is going to be another attack on US soil at some point. We would have to be perfect in order to stop suck a strike while the terrorists only have to get one man with a bomb bext though. The odds say it WILL happen.
But coming from an organization that claimed that the attacks of September 11th was only the first in a “storm” of airplanes that would be falling from the skies and that we have documented and stopped several terrorists in the US and around the world I would say that bin Laden and his cowards are just trying to see how much idiotic propaganda they can get their sympathizers here to believe.
Listen, you do NOT offer a truce except under one circumstance which is that you are getting your ass kicked.
White House press secretary Scott McClellan gave the proper response. “We do not negotiate with terrorists. We put them out of business.” Sorry Osama but you bit off more than you can chew on this one. Should have thought about that before you screwed with America and the “Cowboy”.
