ACLU Continues To Telegraph Their Big Plans

The ACLU claims that they really aren’t anti-Christian or against religion and even that they aren’t against America. But they are. And they keep proving it every time the open their mouths to defend their assault on 10 Commandment displays around the country.
Hedy Weinberg, executive director of the ACLU of Tennessee said “residents should not be made to feel like second class citizens because they do not hold the prevailing religious beliefs promoted by the county government,” with regards to their latest attack and demand to remove a 10 commandments display at a Tennessee courthouse.
I want you to read that very carefully again because it is very telling about where this whole assault by the ACLU is going. Let me show you.
Today the excuse is “residents should not be made to feel like second class citizens because they do not hold the prevailing religious beliefs promoted by the county government”. Tomorrow the phrase can easily be changed once they have won this battle in the war to strike God and religion from everything. Is taking that statement and modifying it to “citizens of the United States should not be made to feel like second class citizens because they do not hold the prevailing religious beliefs promoted by the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution,” that far off? Not really.
Lest we forget both reference God.
Declaration of Independence:
“separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them”
“all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”
“We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions”
United States Constitution:
“Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord”
Note that they are all capitalized and reference a proper and singular Deity (ie God) and even reference the Christian Calendar! My God! We can’t have that! How can an Atheist or a Wiccan or any religion that doesn’t believe in God ever feel like anything other than a second class citizen with such strong references to religion in our society!
“They must be stricken!” you can almost here the ACLU say. Because it isn’t that hard to, if you believe the ACLU’s arguement, make the leap to “citizens of the United States should not be made to feel like second class citizens because they do not hold the prevailing religious beliefs promoted by the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution.”
