Hang on a second. What exactly does civil liberties have to do with abortion? I would think that one would be more concerned with the civil liberties of the person whose life is about to be taken away!
“If the Court accepts the government’s arguments in this case, it will give a green light to states to pass abortion restrictions that will harm women’s health in medical emergencies,” said Jennifer Dalven, deputy director of the ACLU’s Reproductive Freedom Project, and the attorney who argued before the Court today. “We are hopeful that the Court will recognize the importance of protecting women’s health and access to safe, legal abortion and rule in our favor.”
God, please forgive us. Please forgive those of us who just cannot realize that those are your children we are killing.
It is ridiculous to think this case will “pass abortion restrictions that will harm women’s health in medical emergencies.” When it becomes a medical emergency, there isn’t a state in the Union who would make the woman die for the sake of an unborn child who will not survive once the mother dies anyway.
Can anyone explain to me what the Reproductive Freedom Project is, exactly? Do you not have a lot more freedom when you have control over your reproductive system, i.e. not do something to make you pregnant?
Secondly, what is a “safe, legal abortion”? I would like to think that any operation that ends up with someone dead isn’t all that safe.

If Planned Parenthood is a reproductive health care provider, Adolf Hitler was a civil rights activist for the Jewish people! Everyone has a right to accept the consequences of their actions!
Every child should be loved, but no child should be murdered.
