Impeach U.S. District Judge Stanwood Duval NOW!
J.J. Jackson* | December 13, 2005
U.S. District Judge Stanwood Duval ordered the disaster response agency to pay for storm victims’ rooms for at least two weeks once a decision is made on granting them rental housing assistance or until Feb. 7, whichever comes first. The agency had planned to stop subsidizing hotel rooms for evacuees on Jan. 7, in an effort to push them into longer-term housing, which it says is better for them and less costly to the government. - Washington Post
Excuse me Mr. Duval, but under what authority?
Let’s see, Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution doesn’t give Congress the authority to approve funding for this. And I do believe that YOU are sworn to uphold the Constitution. So what you are NOW saying is that you don’t give a flying rat’s ass about the document that you are sworn to uphold by ordering Congress to commit to unconstitutional spending.
Duval’s decision focuses on the problem. He doesn’t have thoughts, but rather “feelings”.
“It is this court’s feeling that the initial paralysis stage has passed and all government agencies — local, state and federal — should be operating in full tilt to assist the hundreds of thousands of citizens displaced by no fault of their own.”
Again, want to show me where that is in Article I, Section 8 anywhere?
“This ruling means that tens of thousands of adults and children who faced homelessness this holiday season will instead find that there is room at the inn,” said Howard Godnick (Socialist/Communist) who is representing 25 plaintiffs in the case against FEMA. Well of course these leeches are suing to keep the gravy train coming! Mr. Godnick should be disbarred first because he supported an unconstitutional position and is party to usurping the highest law in the land (the Constitution). But more importantly where is the ACLU calling for the removal of his law license since he has now invoked the religious symbolism of Christmas in public?
Hypocrites to the last, only embracing religion when it suits them.
Hey, here?s something that you might want to consider ?Jesus NEVER said that government should be the distributor of charity.
