Don’t Worry It Is A Far Cry From A “Miracle”

A CONTROVERSIAL Christmas magic show has sparked outrage by attempting to recreate Bible miracles ? including making a VIRGIN pregnant. - Reports The Christian Congress for Taditional Values
The show to air on December 28th reportedly includes an
“illusion to replicate the Virgin Mary?s pregnancy, a woman has an ultrasound scanner passed over her stomach by Barry and Stuart, and is shown not to be pregnant. But seconds later it picks up a heartbeat ? despite the woman never having sex.”
Some Christians are apparently outraged over this. I say “Pfft … NO BIG DEAL!”
There is a difference between an illusion and reality. So they were able to make the ultrasound show something that isn’t really there. Gee, how hard is it to make a piece of electronic equipment lie? It is as easy as having two input devices on a switch and another pregnant woman in another room. Hardly an “illusion”. Just flip a hidden switch and now you are picking up the signal from the pregnant woman instead.
Let’s also not forget that faking a heartbeat and actually giving birth to a live child are two very different things. I’d be much more impressed if they could follow a woman’s every move for an entire year never taking the camera off her and never using any camera tricks and having her give birth after 10 lunar month than I would be with this parlor trick.
Let the people that have to prove to themselves that miracles are possible or that have to try and prove to everyone else that miracles are fake to discredit religion to their own doubts.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not.
