Christians Strike Back

The irreligious left wing of American society through the bully power of groups like the ACLU has pushed Christian American’s pretty far to the breaking point. Behind calls of any mention of Jesus, God or even Christmas in the public square being an “establishment” of religion which in and of itself is blatantly false and followed by threats to sue public officials are quick to distance themselves from anything that even smacks of a religious sentiment in public.
After Rev. Nick Zientarski dared to mention the name of Jesus Christ in his traditional blessing of the CHRISTMAS tree in Manhasset, New York his prayer was immediately followed by
Supervisor Jon Kaiman angrily objecting behind him, “This is inappro-priate.” Then Kaiman got up and told the crowd, “I just want to make it clear that this is no way a religious ceremony.” - The Daily Review
Apparently this limp wristed girlie man of a public official wasn’t ready for the collective gasp or the outrage his sentiments causes.
The town is in an “uproar” said one resident who is reportedly not even Christian. Jewish, even Christine Roberts seems to get it
“It really was the wrong thing to say at the wrong time. There is a lot of hostility going around. Angry letters to the editor of the local paper. Angry conversations. Insanity has absolutely overtaken this town.”
Bingo.
It’s “Christmas” for Christ’s sake! What do you think the “Christ” in “Christmas” stands for Mr. Kaiman?
WorldNetDaily reports another resident saying
the event was billed as a Christmas tree lighting.
Even the term preferred by many secularists “Holiday” means “Holy day” which in its elf denotes a religious context.
Mr. Kaiman has publicly admitted he over reacted but that doesn’t elevate the problem that he reacted in the first place. The first amendment says that the free exercise of religion shall not be prevented and it’s time our local officials find their nuts before they say something stupid and realize that it is Christmas and that Chist is the reason for the season. Not snow. Not winter. Not cold weather. Not a pretty tree. Not snowflakes or snowmen. Not flying reindeer. Not a break from unconstitutionally controlled federal government schools. But Jesus Christ.
