An American Airlines passenger who claimed to be carrying a bomb was shot by an air marshal on a jetway ramp while trying to flee a plane arriving from Medellin, Colombia, at Miami International Airport on Wednesday, a U.S. official said. - Reuter’s News [Retrieved from Yahoo! News]
While there are probably a million liberals out there already wondering why this ‘passenger’ had to be killed and not shot in the leg or something like that, I would like to thank the Air Marshall who heroically did his job. You quite possibly could have thwarted an attack to our nation. You truly deserve a medal.
The spokesman said the passenger indicated during the flight that there was a bomb in a carry-on bag and upon landing immediately exited the aircraft through the jetway at Gate D42. Air marshals pursued and ordered the passenger to get down on the ground.
“The passenger then reached into his carry-on bag, at which point, consistent with air marshal training, the air marshals took the appropriate actions. Shots were fired as the team attempted to subdue the subject,” the spokesman said.
I hope this incident gives a message to would-be terrorists thinking of doing the same thing. I only hope there are more brave Air Marshalls on our planes keeping us grateful (and some not-so-grateful) Americans safe.
It is also my hope that any liberal who would try to make an issue into this will shut up! There is no need for any sort of investigation. If you do not want to get killed, do not do that which might get you killed, like threaten to use a bomb!
