Murtha On Meet The Press

Parroting the popular Vietnam era sentiment about not being able to win that war, Rep Murtha (Chicken Hawk Democrat- Pennsylvania) said of Iraq “we can’t win militarily.”

This statement is an affront to our brave men and women serving in Iraq who are fighting, bleeding and losing their lives fighting terrorism and bringing hope to those that had none or very little several years ago.

By saying “we can’t win militarily” Murtha is saying that our soldiers are inept and incapable. Which is disgraceful coming from a Vietnam Vet who should KNOW exactly what our troops are capable of which is winning every damn major engagement and routing the enemy … at least until the granola crunching hippies that think singing folk songs and having a “dialogue” with people whose main goal is to see you DEAD is better than fighting for freedom and security.

Disgusting Representative Murtha, absolutely disgusting.
