Roger McClasin is an American citizen who lives near the United States/Mexico border. He has taken it upon himself to risk his life doing the job the United States government refuses to do.
Mr McCaslin’s small mine sits on a knoll of red earth and scrub near the Mexican border. Like his 19th-century predecessors, he is sure there is money in “them thar hills” after a geological survey indicated there may be rich veins of silver.
Today, however, he has other priorities. For the mine also sits in the middle of a network of trails used by heavily-armed Mexican trafficking gangs to smuggle people and drugs into America.
Notoriously porous, the border has reached new levels of lawlessness this year as smugglers, known as “coyotes”, have become increasingly brazen, willing to fire on anyone - from border patrols to the likes of Mr McCaslin - who gets in their way. - Telegraph
Mr. McCaslin should not have to worry about “coyotes” coming anywhere near his land because they should not be in this country in the first place! Article IV Section 4 of the United States Constitution states:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
[EMPHASIS ADDED]
It does not say, “Well, if it doesn’t upset Mexico, the Government will protect this nation from invaders.” Article IV Section 4 is not optional!
Mr. McCaslin finds himself in a situation, however, where he has to risk his life defending his property against people who have absolutely no right being there! I wonder what Derechos Humanos has to say about this. Mr. McCaslin’s human rights are being violated when he is not even secure in his own land. Well, since he’s not Latino or illegal, Derechos Humanos probably won’t care. Mr. McClasin is probably just a racist, not wanting illegal aliens using his backyard as a welcome mat and all.
The time for the United States government to do its job and protect its citizens is way past due. How many more Americans have to be killed before this finally happens? Do we actually want to have something happen here that will make the events on September 11, 2001 seem tame?
It is time for our elected “leaders” to quit talking about doing something along the borders and actually do it. It is time for us as American citizens to boot out those who refuse to actually do something.
This website has points to consider for the next election and it is well worth the time to read it. Three of the points to consider listed on the above link are:
No solving the Border Security issue
No solving the Illegal Immigration issue
No addressing the Islamic Threat to our Judeo-Christian Civilization
Unless our “leaders” are willing to solve those issues, as well as others, they need to be replaced by others who will. The only way that is going to happen is if we replace them!
Exercise your right to vote. Vote for those who will do the job they are supposed to do. Do not be concerned with “wasting” your vote. It is truly wasteful to vote for the same worthless politicians who have no intention of actually doing their job.
