When Idiots Educate Our Children

As I was reading the article American Girl teams with pro-abortion, pro-lesbian group at WorldNetDaily and following the links they provided to Girls Inc. I realized just how dangerous it is to have idiots teaching our children … much less other Americans.
Reproductive FreedomGirls Incorporated affirms that girls and young women should make responsible decisions about sexuality, pregnancy and parenthood.
We recognize the right of all women to choose whether, when, and under what circumstances to bear children. Reproductive freedom and responsibility are essential to other rights and opportunities, including pursuit of education, employment, financial security and a stable and fulfilling family life. Restrictions of reproductive choice are especially burdensome for young women and poor women. Girls Incorporated supports a woman?s freedom of choice, a constitutional right established by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973 in Roe vs. Wade. (source)
Girls Inc. like so many other ignorant fools (or perhaps they are smart fools) is still trying to say that because the Supreme Court ruled a certain way in Roe V. Wade that abortion is now a “constitutional right”. Of course the problem is that uh - no that is NOT what RvW means.
The supreme court does not have the ability to **poof** into existence new “rights”. What can the Supreme Court do?
The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority - Article III, Section 2
That’s it. It can only rule on what is actually in the Constitution.
Right to abortion is in the Constitution? Nope. But there is a section that specifically says “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” - Amendment XIV
Saying that the SCotUS found a “right” in the constitution is a vacuous argument because the Supreme Court is not authorized to “find” rights in the Constitution that are not there. And if that isn’t enough for you maybe you should read the words of Justice Blackmun who actually authored the opinion.
Blackmun proposed to issue a news release to accompany the decision, issued Jan. 22, 1973. “I fear what the headlines may be,” he wrote in a memo. His statement, never issued, emphasized that the court was not giving women “an absolute right to abortion,” nor was it saying that the “Constitution compels abortion on demand.” (source)
But as long as political hacks are trying to educate our children trying to further their own anti-American (and it IS anti-American) agendas this country will continue to suffer.
